Written directions for Pipon's Resort, Rincón-Puerto Rico FROM SAN JUAN AIRPORT TO RINCÓN Follow the Green Parrot-Mayagüez Tourist signs (tourism officials are trying to make it easier for you). It will take approximately 1 hour to reach Arecibo. You will make a right out of the airport (1st Exit-San Juan Highway 26 –DO NOT GO OVER MOSCOSO BRIDGE). Go under overpass and exit to the right following the signs to 22 Bayamón – Autopista Toll Road. You will follow 22 to Arecibo and pay approximately $2.50 in tolls (35, 50 or 70 cents at each booth. It is well worth it. If you venture off 22 it will be a slow and grueling process, arriving hours later- It is your choice! Once in Arecibo, Rd. 22 turns into Rd. 2. Stay left. Stay on Rd. 2 to Aguadilla (about 30 minutes). In Aguadilla you will pass a stadium and water park. Stay on Rd. 2 until you reach Carr. 417 (there is an overhead crosswalk there – you can’t miss it). Take a right on Rd. 417 and for 1.6 miles to the cemetery on your right. At the cemetery (the walls are painted with murals) severeal roads merge. Take Avenida Nativo Alers (the signs is in the middle of 2 roads-TAKE the LEFT ROAD) Go 1.5 miles and turn left when the road ends at Rd. 115. Take Rd. 115 (cross the narrow bridge) approximately 4 miles. On the right will be Rd. 413 (Bo. Puntas – El Faro sign). Take that 1.5 miles to the shell gas station on your right. After the gas station turn right and go down the hill. We are on the right-hand side about 1/8 mile down the road. There is a large sign “PIPON'S”. ADUADILLA AIRPORT TO RINCÓN Make a left out of airport parking lot and a left at the stop sign. You will exit Gate 1 of Base Ramey and will be on Rd. 107. By the fourth light you need to be in the right lane and enter Highway Rd. 2 South (if you are in the right lane You will automatically end up on Highway Rd. 2 heading South). Stay on Highway Rd. 2 and follow directions above making a RIGHT at Rd. 417. MAYAGUEZ TO RINCÓN Make a right out of the airport parking lot. Right at the end of road, which is Highway Rd.2. At the first light make a left onto Rd. 115. You will pass two Texaco service stations – make the curve around the back of the catholic church which sits on the plaza. Left at the first street past the school (Rd. 413). Follow Rd. 413 for approximately 3 miles to the Shell gas station on your left. Take the street BEFORE the Shell gas station to your LEFT and go down the hill. We are on the right side about 1/8 mile down the hill. There is a large sign on the road “PIPON’S”.
